Románový pamflet o životě člověka ve světě aut
Text oscilující okolo osy pamflet—román—alegorie podává obžalobu fetišizace automobilu coby symbolu pokroku, nezávislosti, moci a privatizace světa.
A novel pamphlet about human life in the world of cars
Oscillating around the axis of pamphlet-novel-allegory, the text is an indictment of the fetishization of the automobile as a symbol of progress, independence, power and privatization of the world. All cars are allegorical. The narrative of a courier delivering food around town, pedalling too hard and thinking too much, is interspersed among the mutual abuse of the participants in everyday traffic. The Courier, the Messenger stands on one side of the barricade of street civil war and his heated journey through hostile territory, his implacable struggle for justice, real or perceived, leads to the limits of recklessness and hatred.

After his remarkable novel "Kontinuita Parku", Petr Šesták comes up with another text that defies readers' expectations. This cross between a pamphlet and a novel is not afraid to have a clear point of view. That literature is supposed to look at things from all sides? And what if they are unambiguous?
