T-Club Libuše Jarcovjákové ukazuje fotografie pořízené v letech 1983-85 v legendárním pražském LGBTQ baru.

Kniha poskytuje jedinečný vhled do undergroundového života klubu T-Club za totality v Československu 80. let. Je to první ucelená fotografická publikace mapující život ve slavném LGBTQ klubu.

Pravidelným hostem tam byla fotografka Libuše Jarcovjáková. Byla součástí rodiny. T-Club byl místem, kde jste mohli potkat lidi všech věkových kategorií. Krásné mladé muže a krásné mladé ženy. Zženštilí „B“ a slušně vypadající pánové, kteří si na chvíli odskočili od rodin. Fotbalistky, asistentky v drogerii, pošťáci nebo průvodčí, číšníci, taxikáři a určitě i tajná policie.

Kniha je první ucelenou fotografickou publikací mapující tento vnitřní vesmír slavného baru.

The book provides a unique insight into the underground life of the club T-Club during the totalitarianism of the 1980s Czechoslovakia. It’s the first comprehensive photographic publication mapping life in the famous LGBTQ club.

Photographer Libuše Jarcovjáková was regular guest there. She was part of the family. T-Club was a place where you could meet people of all age. Beautiful young men and beautiful young women. Effeminate “B’s” and decent-looking gentlemen who jumped away from their families for a while. Female footballers, drugstore assistants, postmen or train conductors, waiters, taxi drivers and for sure the secret police too.

The book is the first comprehensive photographic publication mapping this inner universe of the famous bar.
