Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague published important and unique book – Czech Glass. The athor of the book is a leading expert in history of glass design – Professor Sylva Petrová.  

PhDr. Sylva Petrová  - curator, researcher, publicist, up to 2012 professor at the university of Sunderland in Great Britain. Currently she is working as a freelance curator in Prague, Czech Republic. Between 1985 and 1998 she worked for the Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague. In recent years she has published nine books, contributed to forty-three others and has also written about a hundred essays and papers for various world catalogues and magazines on the subject of contemporary glass.
